Catalina the day she was found

Catalina today

On the 22nd of August, a member of Pro Animal Gomera found Catalina in the middle of the street in the community of La Calera, Valle Gran Rey.  As one can see by the above pictures, she was not in the best of shape.  Besides the well advanced Cat Cold, which had completely infected her eyes and nose, she was suffering from dehydration, malnutrition, fleas and worms.  She was quickly taken to the vet where treatment was immediately started even though the prognosis was not good.  Fortunately for Catalina, the treatments have been successful and she is turning into a real beauty.  She still walks with a slight limp, is absolutely friendly and loveable.
