Education is the unique guarantee to prevent animals abandonment

On the 7th of March, Mr. Miguel Ángel Negrín, the Commercial Director of Caja Canarias on La Gomera and  Mrs. Dominique Lecroc Gabillard, the secretary of Pro Animal Gomera (PAG),  signed an agreement in San Sebastian de La Gomera.  The bank has agreed to support an education project presented by PAG with the sum of 4000 €.  This project was developed for children between the ages of six and eleven with the goal of changing attitudes in our society towards the handling of animals.   The Association would like to than Caja Canarias for their support and their confidence they have placed on us.

Un proyecto infantil previene el abandono de los animales ACN, San Sebastián

 

La entidad financiera CajaCajarias apoyará una iniciativa de Pro Animal Gomera para sensibilizar a los niños sobre la tenencia de animales.

 

El proyecto que desarrolla esta asociación está dirigido a niños de edades comprendidas entre los 6 y los 11 años, y se fundamenta en la educación como única garantía para prevenir el abandono de animales domésticos en la Isla Colombina.

 

Con el fin de luchar contra el abandono de animales, CajaCanarias, a través de su Obra Social y Cultural, ha decidido apoyar la labor que la Asociación Pro Animal Gomera desempeña para este cometido en esta isla.

Este acuerdo fue materializado por el director comercial de la entidad de ahorro en La Gomera, Miguel Ángel Negrín, y por la secretaria de Pro Animal, Dominique Lérida Lecroc.

 

 

La Asociación Pro Animal Gomera forma parte de la Federación Canaria de Asociaciones Protectoras de los Animales y Plantas (Fecapap).

A project for children prevents animals abandonment

 

Caja Canarias has agreed to support a Pro Animal Gomera (PAG) project to educate children about the proper care of animals.

 

This project is designed for children between the ages of six and eleven and is based on the premise that education is the best way to prevent cruelty to and abandonment of animals on the Island.

 

To help in this fight against cruelty and animal abandonment, the Caja Canaries, through it's program " Obra Social y Cultural", has decided to support this PAG project on the Island.

 

This agreement was signed by Mr.  Miguel Ángel Negrín, Commercial Director of the bank on La Gomera, and Mrs. Dominique Lecroc Gabillard, the secretary of Pro Animal Gomera.
