When someone
mentioned to the folks from the Pro Animal Gomera (Pag) that in
San Sebastian there was a female cat with part of its face
missing, nobody would have ever imagined what we were going to
find. Incredible!!! Instead of a face, the poor street cat
had a bloody hole with flies in it. She had lost one
eye and was starting to have problems breathing because part of
the nose had also disappeared. Neighbors felt sorry for her
but nobody knew what to do or even, how she could be caught.
PAG caught her and took her to the Vet. . The diagnosis was
a bad tumor leaving us no alternative but to put her down.
At least she had a decent death. Much better than others
with the same problem will have.
We apologize for
the strong pictures, but unfortunately, this is part of our daily
work, very often a hard and sad work.
