Sterilization Campaign in San Sebastian de
La Gomera! (June 2010)
Thanks to the help of the Animal Clinic
Amalahuye, the German Association FALG, and the wonderful help of
Mercedes and Marta, Pro Animal Gomera was able to conduct a
Sterilization Campaign in the Capital city of the Island.
Altogether, 33 cats, of which 26 were females, were sterilized and
released back in to their respective home areas. Seven kittens,
whose survival chances were slim to none, were found and are now
awaiting new homes.
We hope to repeat such a campaign again in
a few months, but we would like to remind everyone that the
cooperation and help of the citizenry is very important.
