This
is Brandy. He and his brother, Bruno, were found wrapped in a
plastic bag in a garbage container. They were both only a couple
of days old. They were lovingly bottle fed until they could
eat on their own and developed quite well. However, Brandy had a
problem. He could not stand on his hind legs. The local Vet.
determined that he had feeling in his rear legs, but that there must be
an injury of some type along his spine. It was decided to fly
Brandy to Germany so that he could receive the needed operation.
Before that could happen though, X-Rays were taken in order to get a
good idea of what kind of injury it was. Here is one of the
Brandy's X-Rays :::
After
viewing the X-Rays, the German Vet. stated:
"...
unbelieveable, that the dog still moves..."
I'll
leave it to the reader here to speculate on how Brandy received this
injury...
A
few days after his X-Rays were taken, Bruno's condition began to worsen.
It became impossible to even think about transporting him to Germany and
it was finally decided to end his suffering.
This little man was
only 16 weeks old. In his last days he was surrounded with love
and care, and is very much missed.
